Once you begin exercising, you will experience increased flexibility, more energy, greater strength, and decreased body fat. And your results will occur quickly. Within six weeks of beginning to train, studies show 100 to 200 percent increase in strength in men aged 60 to 70.
Exercise also has a direct impact on your brain. Studies have shown that exercise can slow or even reverse the decline in brain function.

As you've just heard, exercise doesn't have to be overly rigorous for you to reap the benefits. If you're taking a brisk walk, you should be able to carry on a conversation at the same time. Get a mild sweat going, and you're doing it right. Once you feel the endorphin "high" from moderate exertion, you can start to increase your efforts.
